By far the most popular floor lamp for a piano is the PFL-617 by House of Troy. I sold many of these lamps during the holidays. This lamp has a sturdy base so it will not tip over. The arm of the lamp adjusts from 26" to 54" and the shade swivels allowing you plenty of flexibility in directing the light onto the music. It takes one 60w incandescent bulb, which is certainly a sufficient amount of light.
This lamp carries a 2 year manufacturer's warranty against defects and workmanship.
